Excel can help you spot very basic formatting problems, but it cannot tell you whether a domain appears able to receive mail or whether an address looks disposable or suspicious.
The practical workflow
- Open the spreadsheet in Excel.
- Save the file as CSV.
- Upload the CSV to MailCull.
- Review the status results.
- Export the cleaner file and open it again in Excel if needed.
Why this works well
You keep the spreadsheet workflow people already know, but you add list-quality checks that Excel alone does not provide.
This is especially useful for:
- event exports
- legacy client lists
- CRM exports
- prospect spreadsheets
